Good architecture adds to our architectural heritage, affects everyone, all our senses, influences our lives and tells us something about the age in which we live and about ourselves. We take a pragmatic approach and base our assignment on the practical and economic considerations of a building job. We strive to base our proposals on our experience of the “Place’s Soul” and look for the uniqueness of a given situation. Our aim is conceptual clarity. Clarity that looks to simplicity and rejects banality. We look for logical consistency from the conceptual framework of the project right down to detail and fixtures. Lund & Valentin consists of a group of forty architects and designers working from two interlinked offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg. We have a long and broad experience, which covers most architectural assignments on today’s market. We also work on outline proposals/strategic briefs and conceptual design, as well as designing furniture, fittings and specialist components for the building industry.
